I participated in a charity event for “Peace Village International” in German, which was established on July 6th, 1967 as a citizen’s initiative to help children in areas of war and crisis.
The society is operated by volunteers from all over the world.
A lot of Japanese volunteers have worked in Peace Village International, too.
Today, the people who had done the volunteer activities gathered and held a big party.
I donated some wine and was in charge of the wine bar.
The key members came to the event from German.
I made a short speech,too.
It was a heartwarming event.
It was a good opportunity for me to think about peace and the innocent victims of war.
Fortunately, our wine was welcomed and got a good reputation.
Everybody smiled when drink wine.
I took a photo with Ms. Chizuru Azuma, who is a popular actress and the organizer of the event today.
She once reported “Peace VillageInternational” by TV program before.
