It was the second day of Gifu trip.
At first, I visited Nagara-Natural Winery in Gifu.
The winery produced a very nice white wine I tasted yesterday.
It is a very small “Garage” winery.
Mr. Hayashi, who is the owner & winemaker, is third generation of the winery.
The winery produced about 30,000 bottles white and red wine from local grapes.
All wines fermented by wild yeast.
We talked about wine making, family history, how to enjoyed wine, etc.
Finally, I got to a success of starting business with the winery.
Then I took a tour of the vineyards.
Beautiful!
The grape vines are cultured by Japanese traditional rack style.
I found a few berry left and tried to taste it!
It was very sweet. Also I felt very fine acidity.
It was so delicious.
I was sure again fine wine came from fine grape.
Nagara Natural Wine will soon arrive at Cave de Relax.
Please expect it!
After visit the winery, I went back to sightseeing tour in Oumi.
Finally, I came back to Nagoya Station and had local specialty chicken dishes.
It was so nice trip in this time.
The total steps in the trip was 38,114.
