The second day in South Africa

Feb. 15

It was the second day in South Africa.

I went to Joostenberg, which is a premium organic winery in Paarl.

Mr. Tyrel Myburgh, who is the owner & winemaker, received us.

He is also the winemaker of our Pangolin.

We have kept so long relationship.

At first, we tried a wine tasting.

Joostenberg is made from 100% organic grape using wild yeasts.

Every wine is so pure, natural, elegant and low alcohol.

The style and quality is just my favorite.

I was sure again that Tyrel’s wine was outstanding.

After the tasting, we enjoyed a very nice lunch at the winery restaurant.

After lunch, we went back to Stark-Conde.

I tried a wine tasting from the barrel, produced by my son named Dai.

He stayed in Yarra Vallery in Australia for two years and worked at some wineries.

He moved to South Africa last month and worked in Stark-Conde now.

He produced three barrel of Chenin Blanc.

I tasted them.

Because he got very special high quality grapes, the taste was very good.

I will import them around November.

The winery restaurant of Stark-Conde had a wedding party tonight.

I was surprised at seeing a very gorgeous room for the event.

Finally today, I enjoyed Japanese style bath at Hans’s great house.

It was an amazing time.

It was a wonderful day.

Thank you so much!
