1st Fines Bulles de Canet Blanquette de Limoux 2016 Sample Tasting
What is this?
It is an incredibly fine sparkling wine!
I can’t believe that you have such fine sparkling wine in Languedoc.
If I taste this by blind, I would say, “It’s some prestige Champagne”.
It has an outstandingly elegant babbles, beautiful acidity and tremendously fine minerals.
It is ultra-super tasty.
Blanquette de Limoux means it is made from mainly Mauzac.
The back label says Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc are blended.
However, I didn’t feel any sweet aroma that Mauzac often has.
Instead of the sweet nuance, I felt white flower,very complex fruits, yogurt, cream and fine minerals.
Again, it is hyper tasty!
2nd Alpha Loire Pate de Chat Pinot Noir 2017 1350 yen
I should say that it is my house Pinot Noir.
I am sure again that it is very, very good Pinot Noir.
It kept a very good balance even though a very cool temperature.
You must taste a red wine icy-cold in summer!
