It was my birth day. I have become 59 years old.
I had a one night-two day trip to Oita.
At first I visited to Usa Jingu Shrine, a major shrine in Kyushu.
It was a very hot day today.
Then I had a very nice fried chicken, which is a famous local food.
Then I went to Ajimu Winery, one of the top wineries in Kyushu, also in Japan.
It was the first time that I had come here.
It was a beautiful winery.
Mr. Furuya, the chief wine maker, welcomed me even though it was the busiest season for him.
He guided me to the vineyards here.
It was very well-organized vineyards.
Almost all grapes were picked up and a little Tanat and Norton left there.
I was surprised at the sweetness by tasting these grapes.
I was also guided to the new vineyards, planted vines last year.
I was sure Ajimu Winery will be growing and growing.
Then I went back to the winery and was guided the cellar.
It was very well-organized cellar, too.
I tasted the grape juice of Chardonnay, Albarino, MBA and Pinot Noir, before fermented.
They were really delicious.
It was a very nice visit.

Then I moved to Beppu Onsen, a famous resort area by Onsen Spa, and visited to Otto e Sette, a very fine Italian Restaurant.
Mr. Kakehashi, the chef de cuisine, cooked all dishes by using onsen steam.
The cooking method is the traditional technic in Beppu.
All of the diches were very tremendously fine, outstanding!
I enjoyed the dinner with Ajimu Wine and my BYO fine burgundy wine.
It was a super fine dinner.

Then I moved to Oita City and visited to Bar Ponte.
It was very nice Italian bar.
They have dealt Cave de Relax wine for a long time.
I was so happy to see a lot of my wines there.
I tasted Famille Quiot and Pesquie Chardonnay.
