He bought two bottles of his first vintage wine for me.
He was my colleague when I worked in Mercian long time ago.
We are able to be straight with each other.
I have been looking forward to tasting his first wine for long time.
You have two new vintage white wines.
1st Sauvignon Blanc 2016 2,970 yen
The grapes were grown at the highest vineyards altitude 840 m.
I felt very fine-sharp acidity thanks of the cool climate.
Also I felt very fine minerals and rich fruits.
Well, it is a super fine Sauvignon Blanc in Japan.
Only 4,000 bottles produced.
2nd Chardonnay 2016 2,970 yen
The grapes were grown at the vineyards around the winery altitude 650 m.
30% wine was fermented in new French oak casks and matured there 8 months.
70% wine was fermented in stainless tanks and matured with some lies.
At first, I felt sweet aroma like an apple pie.
Then I felt green apple flavor and very rich fruits.
Well, it is also a very fine Chardonnay in Japan.
I think we can expect a long mature potential.
They are very, very fine Japanese white wine.
They will soon arrive at Cave de Relax.
You can expect them very much.
