Jan. 14
The diary goes back and forth, but on Monday, the 12th of this week, I received friends of Tomoko who lives in Hoya.
When my son was in elementary school, we lived in Hoya, and they were the mom-friends at that time.

Even after we moved to Machida, she continued to have a relationship with them for about 30 years.
It’s rare to have a long-term relationship with mom-friends.
Thank you all.
Today’s dish
Firefly squid and Maguro Sashimi

Kiritanpo hot pot

As usual, I boiled down the chicken bones from the day before and took a rich broth.
Kiritanpo hot pot, delicious!

Today’s Wine

La Croix Gratiot Picpoul de Pinet 2024 2,250 yen
This is my favorite natural wine from Languedoc.
It is known as a wine that goes well with raw oysters, but it also goes well with Japanese food.
It’s a wine with a deep capacity that even Kazunoko would accept, so it’s okay with the rich broth of Kiritanpo.
I felt rich fruits flavor with depth, refreshing citrus acidity, and exceptional minerality.
This wine is really delicious.
Due to the strong euro, the price has exceeded 2,000 yen, but I think it is worth more than double it.
