La Font de L’Olivier Carignan V.V. 2022 2,680 yen
Last month, I bought it at Todaya in Itabashi.
It is a red wine from Languedoc made with 100% 80 years old Carignan vines.
Carignan usually becomes very dark in color and high in alcohol wine, so it is usually blended with other grapes.
But this one is rare 100% Carignan.
Well, this Carignan has a surprisingly elegant style.
It is full of black berry fruit flavors reminiscent of prunes.
I felt pleasant acidity and rounded tannins make it smooth on the palate.
The aftertaste lasts very long and comfortable.
Hmm, it’s delicious. There is such a light and deep flavor of Carignan.
I was educated a lot again.
