Today’s Wine

Domaine Sontag Moselle La Cuvee Les Blasons 2019 3,600 yen

I bought it at “Todaya” in Itabashi last month.

I don’t know that there is an AOC called Moselle in France.

When I started studying wine a long time ago, the first thing I remembered was that in Germany, there were Rheine wines and Moselle wines, and the Rheine was in brown bottles and the Moselle was in green bottles.

Now that I think about it, it’s a lot of crude knowledge, but when I think of the Moselle, German wine and it rubs against my head.

I looked it up in the Moselle in France, and it was an AOC in the Lorraine region, located next to Alsace.

The source of the famous Moselle River in Germany is in the Vosges Mountains in northern France, and it seems to flow into Germany through the Lorraine region.

This Moselle AOC was just established in 2010 and has a total area of only 70 hl.

Due to the small amount of production, most of the wine is consumed locally.

It’s a precious wine.

And this is very delicious.

Behind the pure mouthfeel with a strong sense of transparency, I felt the fluffy, delicate, and elegant fruit flavor.

The comfort permeates my body, and I can’t help but mutter, “Oh, it’s delicious.”

Temaki-sushi and fine white wine. This is the pinnacle of luxury.
