Sep. 20
The Higan week starts form today.
When I woke up in the morning, I was surprised at how cool it was.
They say “Both heat and cold end on the day of Higan.” Is it true?
No, it may exceed 35 degrees in October.
Don’t let your guard down.
Today’s dish
Edamame
Chicken liver stewed in red wine
Yakitori
Salad with lots of ingredients
with prosciutto, bonito sashimi, mozzarella, egg, pumpkin, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, kiwi, apple
I cook too much every day, so I tried to keep it low today.
Today’s Wine
Grimau Trancadis Brut Nature NV 1,605 yen
This is a sparkling wine made from pesticide-free grapes grown in Penedes, Spain.
This is also a long-selling Relax Wine that has been imported for over 20 years.
It is made from Xarel-Lo, Macabeo and Parellada and a small amount of Chardonnay without the addition of finishing liqueurs.
I felt pure fruits, mild acidity, and a pleasant aftertaste.
Compared to the same Relax Wine, Cava Oriol Rossell, it has a gentle mouthfeel.
Yakitori, chicken liver, salad, it went well with any dish today.
