Today I went to Yokohama to participate in a meeting.
It was also hot in Yokohama.
Today’s dinner is Sukiyaki with my son and his wife.
The meat is Japanese black beef from Fukushima.
It’s fun to have Sukiyaki that everyone enjoys.
1st La Croix Gratiot Rose 2023 2,000 yen
It is a certified organic rose wine from Languedoc.
It is a blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
I felt a fresh red fruits flavor, sweet and sour fruit acidity, refreshing minerality.
The charming and pleasant flavor fills your mouth.
A good rose wine is really good.
2nd Anjimu Wine Imoridani Merlot 2017
What kind of red wine should I go with Sukiyaki? When I was looking for my wine-cellar, I found an old vintage Anjimu Merlot.
This one looked good.
Yes, I’m right.
I felt concentrated fruits flavor that you might not think of as Japan Merlot, black berry acid reminiscent of prunes, and smooth tannins.
It has a deep taste that has been aged for 8 years.
I was able to find a good wine today.
