I made a little too much today.
1st Cescon Ribolla Gialla NV 1,200 yen
Yes, I daink again. It is a white wine made from 100% Ribolla Gialla, a local variety from northern Italy.
I felt transparent fruits taste, refreshing acidity and minerality.
This invigorating taste is unique to white wines from northern Italy.
In fact, I took a few bottles in stock with defective cap seals, so I will be drinking them often for a while.
I don’t hate it at all.
2nd Marquis de Beau Rond Merlot 2023 1,080 yen
This is a really well-made red wine.
There are no intrusive flavors at all, and there is a good balance of all taste elements.
As a table wine, it is completely impeccable.
I can drink this wine every day, but I’ll want to drink other wines as well.
