Oct. 29
I wake up at 4:30 a.m. and went to Osaka.
It’s a private day trip.
The destination is Hiraoka Shrine in Higashi―Osaka City.
I was an attendant for my first grandchild’s first visit to the palace.
Unfortunately, it is raining, but a dignified and solemn atmosphere envelops the area.
I was able to pray without delay.
After the prayers, the whole family had a sukiyaki at the meat Moritaya near the shrine.
We received surprisingly high-quality Wagyu-beef unique to a restaurant directly managed by a butcher.
Meat melting on the tongue.
That’s great!
By the way, this area is at the foot of Mt. Ikoma, and the other side is Nara Prefecture.
“That’s right, let’s go to Kyoto!”
On the way back, I decided not to return to Shin-Osaka Station, but to head from Nara to Kyoto.
On the Kintetsu Nara Line, at Yamato-Saidaiji Station, change to a limited express train bound for Kyoto.
The Nara Basin is covered in light rain from the train window.
I arrived at Kyoto Station.
Since I came all the way to Kyoto, I decided to have a light drink at a Japanese restaurant in the station building.
Raw yuba is delicious.
The wine is Delaware of Katasimo Wine in Kawachi, Osaka.
It’s been a long time since I’ve tasted Katasimo wine.
I felt a fresh and pleasant grape flavor.
It’s delicious.
Also, I drank a dry martini at the main bar of the Kyoto Granvia Hotel.
Unexpectedly, I was able to enjoy a moment in Kyoto for a short time.
Thank you all!
