I went to Yokohama for a business meeting.
At noon, I had a nice shrimp tempura soba.
It was delicious.
After returning home, I made eel-cooked rice today.
This is simple, but it feels like a luxury.
We also had Aburi-Sawara, Madai, and Kihada sashimi.
1st Misono Vineyard Chardonnay 2022
This sparkling wine is made from organically grown Chardonnay grown in Yoichi, Hokkaido.
I felt a gentle mouthfeel because of no added sulfurous acid.
I also felt gentle babbles and acidity.
It has the fluffy elegance unique to Chardonnay.
Very good!
2nd Chase the Grape Chill Red 2022
It is made from mainly Muscat Bailey-A from Katsunuma, Merlot from Yamanashi-Manriki and a small amount of some white grape.
It is fermented by wild yeast without sulfur.
I felt a gentle mouthfeel, gentle acidity and nice red fruits.
It is a well-balanced red wine.
It went well with today’s eel-cooked rice.
