I joined in “Wine Day 2023” held by Kuratei Winery, which is the very small winery in Okagami Kawasaki.
I can get there only 15 minutes on foot.
Because I want to support the my local winery, I often come here in each case.
I tasted the glass of Pinot Noir.
You could get the planting stock of Pinot Noir from the estate vineyard.
I joined in the wine seminar held by Mr. Yamada, who is the owner & winemaker.
It was very nice event.
Then I came back home on foot and cooked dinner, Temaki-Sushi.
Very good!
1st Coco Farm & Winery Tajimagawa Ugan 2021 3000 yen
It is made from mainly unique-hybrid grape varieties grown in the estate vineyards.
All of the grapes were fermented by wild yeast.
I felt a lot of fresh fruits, good acidity and fine minerals.
The mouthfeel was very elegant and delicate.
It was very good for Temaki-Sushi today.
2nd Marquis de Beau Rond Pinot Noir 2021 1170 yen
I was going to choose some Japan red wine at first.
But I couldn’t find a suitable one in my cellar as same as the last time.
Then I tried to choose some red wine similar Japan Wine style.
It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in Languedoc.
I felt charming red fruits, good acidity and light tannin.
The mouthfeel was very elegant.
It was very good for Temaki-Sushi today, too.
