Jun. 2
I organized a wine dinner party at Monfa in Nakano.
My very old friends gathered.
They are my associates when I was an university student.
We worked in Cozy Corner, a cake shop and restaurant, 40 years ago.
We met at the first time in these three years.
The main event today is a tasting Chateau Lafite-Rothschild 1986!!
Mr. Saisho, who was the manager of the shop, donated this super fine wine.
At first, we tasted Bollinger Millesime 2011.
It is always very difficult to open an old vintage wine.
I managed to open the old bottle.
Amazing! Amazing!
The bottle was still very young.
I felt fresh fruits at first.
Then I felt excellently complex many flavors, berries, mints, vanilla, honey, cacao, etc.
The mouthfeel is outstandingly elegant.
It was a perfect old vintage wine.
I think the word of old isn’t good for this one.
It showed very fresh and vivid taste and flavor.
All of the dishes are excellent, as well.
I brought my Relax Wine bottles.
They are very good, too.
We had a very, very good time.
It became a memorable day today.
We did a very good job.
Thank you so much!!
