Dec. 11
I was invited to the opening ceremony of the new wine cellar in Misawa Winery in Akeno, Nagano.
We were guided to the estate vineyard by the bus tour, at first.
Then we arrived at the winery.
I took a photo with Mr. Kimijima, who is the owner of Yokohama Kimijimaya, a very popular wine & Sake shops, and Miss. Ayana Misawa, who is the wine maker of the winery.
The new wine cellar looks very stylish and functionable.
I am very looking forward to seeing good matured Cuvee Misawa wines in the future.
After the ceremony, we had a wine party at the restaurant of the winery.
Everybody enjoyed Cuvee Misawa Koshu and Cabernet Sauvignon.
They were so nice, really delicious.
I was amazed to find super elegant and beautiful acidity of the new vintage of Cuvee Misawa.
I supposed that they had a big potential for a long mature.
The new cellar will work very well for the maturing.
It rained in the morning but it became fine afternoon.
We could see the Mt. Fuji from the winery.
Thank you very much for the invitation.
After the event, I moved to Yokohama and joined some year-end-party.
I tasted great red wines, too.
Good job!
