I couldn’t clear many paper works on time.
Then I made many mistakes.
Oh! No!
1st Samora Blanca 2017 Sample tasting
I met this white wine at the last winery I visited to at the Portugal Winery Tour last month.
When I tasted this at the winery, I thought that it is the wine I looking for.
It is made from Fernao Pires, Arinto and Sauvignon Blanc grown in Tejo.
Because I cannot make a decision by only tasting, I got the sample bottles by DHL.
Oh! I’m sure that I was true.
It’s so tasty!
I like this fresh aroma, rich fruits with nice citrus, good minerals and clean after taste very much.
I’m sure it has an outstanding quality in this class.
Finally, finally, I found the wine I have been looking for.
I decide I shall buy this very fine Portuguese white wine.
2nd Samora Tinto 2016
The red is made from Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and Alicnate Bouchet grown in Tejo.
The red is outstanding, too!
I felt concentrated black berries, silky tannin, nice acidity and comfortable-long after taste.
It is a very rich and elegant red wine.
I will but this, too.
The wine is made by Companhia das Lezirias, the huge land owner in this area.
The wine maker is Bernardo.
I am so glad, so happy to see them!
